24° DIN 3861 CONNECTING SYSTEM



MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

These connectors can be assembled with following methods:
 O.Ring weld-on nipple
 Connector body to be fitted with tube bite ferrule

Advantage offered by this connecting method are:
 High working pressures
 No leakages (even to gases when the tube is fitted
with elastomeric seal)
 Good torque resistance
 Easy to assemble
 Can withstand repeated assemblies replacing
the seal if required by wear and aging.

MATERIAL AND SURFACE PROTECTION

Connectors are normally made of steel and obtained from machining of controlled bar-stock (straight connectors, nuts) or by hot or cold forming (shaped connectors, sleeves). All connectors, excepted those to be welded, will go through a Hexavalent Chrome free zinc plating surface treatment, according to EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 2000/53/CE We guarantee a resistance to white corrosion of over 400 hours in salt spray test, according to standard ASTM-B-117 and ISO 9227. All threads are shock protected with plastic caps or plugs.

SEALS

Connectors are supplied with O.Ring seals and retaining washer as per the table and illustration.
