MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

Components of system:
 Nut
 Weld-on nipple with O.Ring seat
 Fitting’s body having various configurations
 NBR O.Ring °Shore “A” 70 temperature range -20°C +120°C.

The advantages of this type of connections are:
 High pressures
 No leakages (even to gases)
 Can withstand reasonably high nut torque
 Easy to assemble
 Can withstand repeated assemblies replacing only the O.Ring when and if required
by wear or aging.

MATERIAL AND SURFACE PROTECTION

Connectors are normally made of steel and obtained from machining of bar-stock (straight connectors, nuts) or by hot or cold forming (shaped connectors, sleeves). All connectors, excepted those to be welded, will go through a Hexavalent Chrome free zinc plating surface treatment, according to EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 2000/53/CE We guarantee a resistance to white corrosion of over 400 hours in salt spray test, according to standard ASTM-B-117 and ISO 9227. All threads are shock protected with plastic caps or plugs.

SEALS

Connectors are supplied with O.Ring, seals and retaining washer as per the table and illustration.
