This type of assembly ensures very high safety of hydraulic systems. The assembly is achieved by connecting a 37° flared tube connector to a connector body and locking the two parts together by means of a nut and a sleeve.
The assembly of a flared tube connector performs extremely well even under severe vibrations, pressure burts and thermal shocks;
On tightening, the sleeve ensures tube alignment with fitting axis, reduces mechanical strain on tube and dampens vibrations;
Flared tube connector can be equally coupled to metric or inch tubes;
The internal part of the tube doesn’t undergo distortion, remains constant and pressure drops are negligible;
The system efficiency remains equally guaranteed after several disassembly and assembly operations or individual replacement of any component.
Connectors from FOR S.p.A. are manufactured from drawn barstock (straight parts), or from forgings (elbows, tees, crosses, and flanges). Our connectors are zinc plated according to ISO 19568, and resist 1.400 hours to red corrosion in test environment according to ISO 9227 NSS, ASTM B 117/97 and DIN 50021 SS. In order to safeguard integrity and avoid contamination, all parts are supplied with thread protections and other means of preservation.
All 37° flared tube connectors requiring seals are supplied with O-ring seals and retaining washers when required. See table and illustration.
